COOKING TO SAVE THE EARTH
How Zoom Cooking Classes Make A Difference
Do you consider the planet when you cook? Every ingredient we use in cooking has a significant impact on the health of our planet. At Homemade, we are always on a mission to cook to save our world! With that in mind, we have partnered with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to raise awareness of our planet’s health and what we can do about it in our kitchens! Learn more about how our Zoom cooking classes really make a difference!
Who Is The Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy is taking on the biggest, most important challenges when it comes to the health of our planet. Did you know that food demand is expected to increase by more than 50% in the next 30 years as the world’s population continues to grow? The way we currently produce most of our food makes climate change and biodiversity loss an immediate concern.
The Nature Conservancy focuses on priorities that science shows are the most urgent. They’re where our innovation and expertise can be game-changers. This organization fosters innovation, collaborates with communities, and promotes policies that enable successful environmental awareness and repair. We love what The Nature Conservancy does, and we use our Zoom cooking classes to help.
In an effort to use our skills to support the efforts of The Nature Conservancy, Homemade is offering free, donation-based, live, virtual group cooking classes! Once a week, one of our incredible Homemade Chefs will host a free cooking event for anyone and everyone. If you choose to donate, 100% of those donations straight to The Nature Conservancy!
Homemade and The Nature Conservancy are on a mission to spread the word about what we can do to support conservation and the health of our planet. What better way to help us on this mission than to cook together to save the planet! To support TNC’s mission, you can donate today by clicking here or contribute when you join one of our Zoom cooking classes.
